A Brief History of Liberty by David Schmidtz and Jason Brennen

What’s interesting about this book is that arguments about liberty often seem to revolve around the idea that there is one correct theoretical concept of liberty. ┬áThis book makes the case there there are many types of liberty which while maintaining some sort of family resemblance, do not owe their existence to one overarching correct theory of liberty.
