William Kline, Ph.D.

President

Before leaving to start the Center for Liberty Studies, Bill was the Director of the Center for Business Ethics at Molloy College and an Assistant Professor of Philosophy. Prior to Molloy he was Assistant Professor of Philosophy and the Director of the International Center for Applied Ethics at Central Michigan University. Bill has taught undergraduate students for over a decade throughout the United States and Hungary including Fort Hays State University, University of Toledo, Central Michigan University, Molloy College, and the Central European University. As a director he has considerable experience in event organizing, budgeting, and leadership within higher education. 

Bill Received his B.A. from Grove City College in 1990 and his Ph.D. in philosophy from Bowling Green State University in 2000.

 


Steven C. Sheinberg, Ph.D., J.D.

Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer

Steve is a lawyer with the Anti-Defamation League. Steve has served in a number of managerial roles at ADL, including Special Assistant to the National Director and Associate Director of the Connecticut office. Steven manages ADL’s 27-office discrimination complaint handling process. 

Steve Sheinberg is a Chapter Editor (Chapter on “Religious Discrimination”) in the Bureau of National Affairs’ forthcoming Employment Discrimination Law 4th Ed, a Contributing Author of a chapter in the American Bar Association’s new Supplement to its book The Family and Medical Leave Act, and will be giving a paper entitled “Rethinking Religious Accommodation in the Workplace” at the ABA’s Annual Equal Employment Opportunity Law Conference in Charleston South Carolina, in March. 

Steve earned his B.A. from Hofstra University in 1990, his Ph.D. in philosophy from Bowling Green State University in 1995 (where he was an award-winning instructor of undergraduates), and his law degree from Emory University School of Law in 1998. He is admitted to practice in both Connecticut and New York and before the United States Supreme Court and the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals.
